I just posted a highres render at Artstation. Shelving this one for now, before I start acting on my own nitpicking :-/ Produced during and after my January 2020 online class. Idealized character for the most part, loosely based on a b&w old photo found on the web. No scans, blueprints, see-through or commercial alphas used. Everything hand sculpted and eyeballed in zbrush either using default brushes or custom ones created using them.
It was a very fun month with yet again very talented students and I really fell in love with the character, that surprisingly decided to show up early on.
I never know where things will end, but I am always in search of their “soul” in each one of my pieces, as if those characters always existed but needed a hand to be set free.
Now that you exist, go on and talk to the people. Tell your stories and let them think about them.
Time to take a break. Vacations coming up this week, so no screens for me for a little while... I appreciate you all. Thank you all for your incredible support, always.
